Interests: Computational biology, Human genomics, Ontologies, Biotechnology

Bio: I am a native of Colorado and a first-generation Mexican-American student who aspires to become an expert in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I also strive to inspire those in minority groups, such as myself, to pursue a career in STEM, and I hope to set an example for the younger generation of women to pursue research careers. I’m a child at heart when it comes to playing sports, but I’m particularly fond of soccer, boxing, and volleyball. I also enjoy watching anime and traveling.
