This reproducible R Markdown analysis was created with workflowr (version 1.7.2). The Checks tab describes the reproducibility checks that were applied when the results were created. The Past versions tab lists the development history.
Great! Since the R Markdown file has been committed to the Git repository, you know the exact version of the code that produced these results.
Great job! The global environment was empty. Objects defined in the global environment can affect the analysis in your R Markdown file in unknown ways. For reproduciblity it’s best to always run the code in an empty environment.
The command set.seed(20201118) was run prior to running the code in the R Markdown file. Setting a seed ensures that any results that rely on randomness, e.g. subsampling or permutations, are reproducible.
Great job! Recording the operating system, R version, and package versions is critical for reproducibility.
Nice! There were no cached chunks for this analysis, so you can be confident that you successfully produced the results during this run.
Great job! Using relative paths to the files within your workflowr project makes it easier to run your code on other machines.
Great! You are using Git for version control. Tracking code development and connecting the code version to the results is critical for reproducibility.
The results in this page were generated with repository version ce2a082. See the Past versions tab to see a history of the changes made to the R Markdown and HTML files.
Note that you need to be careful to ensure that all relevant files for the analysis have been committed to Git prior to generating the results (you can use wflow_publish or wflow_git_commit). workflowr only checks the R Markdown file, but you know if there are other scripts or data files that it depends on. Below is the status of the Git repository when the results were generated:
Ignored files:
Ignored: data/raw/
Note that any generated files, e.g. HTML, png, CSS, etc., are not included in this status report because it is ok for generated content to have uncommitted changes.
These are the previous versions of the repository in which changes were made to the R Markdown (analysis/impact_dashboard.Rmd) and HTML (docs/impact_dashboard.html) files. If you’ve configured a remote Git repository (see ?wflow_git_remote), click on the hyperlinks in the table below to view the files as they were in that past version.

This page tracks the consortium’s impact measures in one place. For each measure it shows the data that exists today and flags the measures nobody records yet. Publication, citation and collaboration counts come from the bridge2aikg analysis of 413 award-verified publications (corpus snapshot 2026-07-22). Field-normalized citation impact (NIH iCite), clinical-citation flags, and papers that mention Bridge2AI (Europe PMC) come from the bridge2ai_eval_data spreadsheet (iCite records through 2025-06-28), which also serves as a cross-check on the publication list. Code repository metrics come from the GitHub API. Membership and team-science numbers come from the onboarding export and the baseline and 6-month surveys in this repository. Measures with no existing source are filled from the templates in data/impact/manual/.
How many of the 41 impact measures have data today (the 38 numbered measures plus 3 unnumbered rows in the source sheet: #30a, #31a, #33a).
Adoption of Bridge2AI practices and methodologies: whether the research community is integrating Bridge2AI-endorsed standards, tools, and data into their work.
Dissemination of Bridge2AI products and knowledge: how well resources, findings, and knowledge reach the broader scientific community and the public.
Network growth and sustainability: the growth and health of the Bridge2AI ecosystem that long-term adoption depends on.
Downloads, access requests, licenses, and web analytics for each dataset and tool, as reported through the Bridge2AI Impact Measures Google Form.

Public repositories in the four consortium GitHub organizations, plus the Bridge2AI Voice repositories in the shared sensein lab organization, pulled from the GitHub API on 2026-10-01 20:26 UTC. Forks are excluded from the totals. Clone and page-view traffic needs maintainer access to each repository, so GCs report it through the Google Form (section 8).
Activity is concentrated: bridge2ai/data-sheets-schema accounts for 71% of all commits in the last 90 days, nearly all from a single contributor, so commit and issue totals say more about a few active repositories than about the consortium as a whole. Contributor and active-repository counts are the steadier signals.
All repositories, sorted by contributors (search or sort any column):
Every citing work of the flagship dataset papers, read and classified by hand in the bridge2aikg analysis. Clear hands-on reuse is real but still the minority outcome.
Papers that mention Bridge2AI. Europe PMC full-text search finds papers that name Bridge2AI whether or not they cite a Bridge2AI paper or list a Bridge2AI award. Papers by consortium members are mostly the project’s own work; papers by outside authors are evidence of uptake.
66 papers mention Bridge2AI without citing a Bridge2AI paper or naming an award: 28 by outside authors (soft citations, #1 and #9) and 38 with at least one consortium member, which are likely consortium publications missing from the award-matched count (#17).
From the Europe PMC export in the bridge2ai_eval_data spreadsheet. Consortium is an approximate tag: the paper’s author list contains a Bridge2AI consortium author name or an onboarded member’s surname and first initial, so a common surname can be tagged consortium by mistake.
12 clinical guidance documents cite Bridge2AI work, 10 of them with no shared author. 12 reporting standards also cite it.
The funders named on the works that cite Bridge2AI are a proxy for #12 (Bridge2AI in new grants). A direct NIH RePORTER or Overton search has not been run yet.

Papers whose OpenAlex funding record names one of the seven core Bridge2AI awards. A paper funded by several awards appears under each, so the stacked total slightly exceeds 413. 2026 is a partial year.
Field-normalized citation impact (NIH iCite). NIH RePORTER links 205 papers to the seven Bridge2AI awards (records through 2025-06-28). 196 of them are also in the bridge2aikg corpus; the other 9 are listed below with “In bridge2aikg” = no. iCite’s Relative Citation Ratio (RCR) compares a paper’s citations with NIH-funded papers in the same field: 1.0 is average, 2.0 is twice the field rate. iCite assigns an RCR only once a paper is about two years old.
The OpenAlex primary field of each work that cites Bridge2AI, top 15.
2.1% of citing works cite papers from more than one Bridge2AI project. The most common project pairs:
Countries of the institutions on works that cite Bridge2AI, by first year seen. Download geography for datasets and tools is still to come from the Google Form.

Consortium members’ use of the shared communication channels, from the team-science surveys. These cover internal members only, not outside users.
From the anonymized onboarding data (B2AI_onboarding_combined_anonymized.csv), which combines the Nov 2025 onboarding form with the Sept 2026 roster, one row per person. Trainee status comes from the onboarding form, so people who are only in the roster show as “Not reported”. Only counts are shown.
Working Group participation (#31): the onboarding modules are not the seven consortium Working Groups, so WG membership is recorded separately.

How much each 6-month survey respondent interacts with each DGP and core (follow-up Q2.7; responses coded 1 = not at all to 6 = full collaboration).
Mean rating of internal collaboration (1 = very poor, 5 = excellent), asked the same way in the baseline (Q2.12) and 6-month (Q2.8) surveys.
262 of the 413 papers have a consortium institution and an outside institution on the same author list, reaching 674 outside institutions. Healthcare institutions are a proxy for clinical collaborations (#33a).

Career stage of everyone who has cited Bridge2AI work, by total career publication count (a rough proxy: a low count can also be a senior clinician’s first paper). 48% of citing works include at least one author with three or fewer papers.
Trainee career outcomes (#36), testimonials (#37), and student-led presentations (#38) are not tracked yet; student-led talks go in presentations.csv with student_led = yes.
